Definitely worth the money if this is your kind of thing. Head is smooth and symetrical. I practically did a chin up holding onto the tines and it didn't budge. Very strong constuction. The wood shaft was straight as an arrow and the grain runs the whole length which makes it strong too. Like all Cold Steel items like this though, you probably do not want to use the screws provided. You probably have much better screws or nails around the house. And who doesn't love just the idea of having a tiger fork to ward off the various large dangerous animals that make their way into the yard.
