I am not going to say it...ok...ya, I am. " Now that's a knife! " Cold steel has hit another one out of the park. The Mayhem is a beast to be sure, but it fits comfortably in my hand and indexes quite naturally. Granted I am 6' 4", but the handle is not outsized. Yes, it is a large knife and a bit heavy for edc, but considering what you are getting, I think it is a fair trade. The action is very smooth, and the lock seems rock solid. The lock release is forward on the spine, but is easy to manipulate. Overall an excellent product. Capable of starting, or stopping, conversations. Buy and carry with confidence.
