Great product, works as advertised, when you first get it's difficult to snap, it takes time to loosen it up enough to get it to snap on easy.

Trail Hawk Sheath
Very nice sheath for the Cold Steel Trail Hawk Hatchet. Fits nicely and covers the blade well. Can't use this sheath for carrying the hatchet, but I like the overall quality and custom fit.

Inexpensive and cheap
After three brief overnight hammock-hikes, using the tomahawk to prepare firewood, when putting this sheath back on, I received a cut. Perhaps this is my fault, for sharpening the Pipe Hawk well beyond how it came; but it is also due to the construction, whereby there is no blocking material at the blade between the two sides of the sheath, so that the hawk's blade rests against the threads themselves. If the hawk is sharp, it will eventually (in my case, three brief trips) cut through the threads and be exposed to the touch (ouch!). On the other hand, the sheath is extremely inexpensive; I chose it rather than purchase a leather sheath that cost more than the tool itself, and I have covered it with several layers of gorilla tape, which should last for the next 3 or 4 trips. If you sharpen your Pipe Hawk, it will cut through this sheath.
