worth every cent

Excellent stone. My coarse DMT lasted me from 2000-2019. Best part is that it can be used with or without the aligner, So if you need a whetstone in the field without all the rest of the kit (aligner, clamp for stone), you can just take the stone itself. another plus is, no lube required. So no mess like with traditional honing stones that require oil or water. And once it's dirty or clogged, a light brushing and wash with a tooth brush is all you need.
