Functional. Less delicate than DMTFWEF, but faster; handy for knives which have been abused (obviously OP's). Keep it handy!

Great product
This is a great, sturdy product. I've used it for a few weeks on everything from my big choppers to a straight razor. I was able to reprofile my skinner on the course side, clean it up on the dine side, strop it and have it shaving sharp in no time.

Quick Sharpen & Hone
I've heard good things about this sharpener and decided to see if they were real. It is outstanding. You can sharpen on the course side and hone on the fine side in only about 1 or 2 minutes. I carry it everywhere because it's the one I can trust with my blades.

Great portable sharpener
These go with me on all hunting trips, and are great for cleaning up blades in the field. I wouldn't recommend these as your only sharpening system. But they do what they are designed to do very well. They are two small for everyday use, and it is difficult to control your angle compared to bench stones, or other less portable methods of sharpening.

This is great!
Even the hardest stainless steel blades can be sharpened. You can feel the diamond abrasive cutting with every stroke, not just sliding as on a stone or a steel. I'm a little concerned about the longevity of the plastic handles as they are under strain while opening and closing.

Great hook file
I got this to carry in my pocket when I'm fishing. Hooks always seem to need a touch up or file a bent point & this does a great job for that. I've used it to touch up my bait knives as well. I'm not sure how durable the handle will turn out to be & that kept it from the getting a 5, otherwise it's perfect for what I got it for. It is pricey but it will outlast the file I used to use with no rust either.
