Outstanding Fighter

This is an ideal combat dagger that is a steal at this price. The weight and balance are perfect for a fighting knife. Overall quality and materials are superb. I do not find the blade shape hard to sharpen as I use a ceramic sharpener rather than a stone and I have no trouble getting a razor sharp edge on the blade. This knife is not for battoning or hammering or chopping (get an axe), this is a purpose built fighting knife made for piercing and cutting. If that's what you're looking for, this is the one. Very highly recommended.

An excellent length and balance, The sheath is good and a nice design with solidly retentive snap hold. The blade finish is excellent and this makes a good choice for a presentation knife or gift. On the down side the blade is pitifully dull. The geometry makes this difficult to properly sharpen without marring the finish.

Down Under "Death Adder"

Blade design is akin to the Roman dagger. I have more modern and useful double-edge blades. Sheath is of adequate quality and design. Fit, finish and polishing are excellent. The laser etching is near flawless. The knife arrived with a butter-knife edge(20mins with the Work Sharp belts cured that). In reverse fighting grip the hilt bites uncomfortably into the bottom of the palm (some minor grinding to do). For the money the blade is worth the price especially if you could work it as a presentation. Very nice work overall.
