You owe it to yourself

If you’re like me and cherish your knives, you only owe it to yourself to shave with one of them. The DOVO Bismarck is a fine example of German Solingen steel and is brutally sharp right out of the box. Paired with the Harold Solingen handle strop, the edge is so brilliant that it requires a new level of respect. It delivers the closest shave imaginable and gives you something to look forward to rather than dreading. This is carbon steel-keep it oiled and enjoy!

Fantastic razor

This is a beautiful piece of equipment. While I was able to shave with it out of the box, one should strop it with canvas and chromium oxide then leather as it was a little “ sticky”. Workmanship is first rate and the balence just right. I love this thing! You can’t go wrong with the DOVO Bismark!

Beautiful in person

The factory edge was pretty good, the set, heft, and function was better than expected. It has some components of mass production that keep it to a 4 of 5 but honestly it is one of the most beautiful tools I have ever seen. It is an in-person kind of piece.
