Unfortunately, some reviewers don't know what this knife was made for: italian bomb squad back-up knife, and general purpose straight forward penetration kinfe. It'is also a purely collector or design knife. Said that, the handle is amazing for small-to medium hands, the blade ist thick and bullish, the tip of the blade is really amazing. Warning: the small part of plain edge on the blade cannot be razor sharp, as somebody will tell you (even E.R. admitted it). The serrations are not really well cutting. So, if you are not a collector and want it for the superb design, make sure that you will use/buy it as a back-up/ultima ratio knife! Also the fact that the polymer sheet (with tech-lock attachment) contains glass-fiber wich makes the edge uncutting after 2 or 3 extractions is something that E.R. should really change about the product, if they didn't already do it, after my complains.
