Diamond files

Bought the set to sharpen my garden tools: clippers,pruners, scissors--anything needing a sharp edge. First, I rub down the tool with steel wool to remove rust/debris. Then, I use a black magic marker to cover the edge that I want to sharpen--when the black is gone, I know that I filed enough. Start with the coarsed file and work down to the finest. To finish,I use a silicone oil on the metal which lubricates and prevents rust.
