love this stone

I love this stone. Used it to create new bevel and also sharpen knife. The 3" width is great. Won't be going back to any 2" width stones after using this. Highly recommend.

Great all-around diamond sharpener

I first got an Eze-lap 3x8 fine diamond plate about 15 years ago. This is a great sharpener that is big enough to sharpen almost anything. The "Fine" grit is actually not THAT fine, Eze-lap claims about 600 grit, and it is noticeably coarser than the DMT "fine". However, that means you can cut faster, spend less time sharpening, and still get a good finish. This sharpener leaves a reasonably fine scratch pattern, and leaves a satin-y finish.

Affordable knife sharpening

This is a great product. It is uniformly coarse so you can use the whole surface to sharpen your knives. This is what stones would like to be.

Excellent Diamond Stones

After viewing Paul Sellers use these diamond stones, I purchased the trio. Built my sharpening holder to hold them. I have been using water stones for years, but these diamond stones beat them hands down! I now use them to sharpen all my plane blades, chisels, knives, etc.
