Great Sharpeners

After viewing Paul Sellers use these diamond stones, I purchased the trio. Built my sharpening holder to hold them. I have been using water stones for years, but these diamond stones beat them hands down! I now use them to sharpen all my plane blades, chisels, knives, etc.

Excellent Sharpening Stone

This stone is a good intermediate step between the Eze-lap Fine and the DMT Extra Fine. It is annoying that companies make the actually grit sizes so opaque, and that even a "600 grit" diamond surface is different from company to company. For example, the Eze-Lap Super Fine is a "1200 grit" according to the company website, and the DMT "extra fine" is also supposed to be a "1200 grit" but the Eze-lap is noticeably coarser than the DMT.
