10 knives delivered to Japan with no issues or complications. Good service. The knives were sharp and ready to use straight away - although they did benefit from an initial stropping before starting to carve. I teach carving and the 10 students found the handles to be very comfortable and they had no blisters after several hours of use. Students also commented on the length of the blade being good to carve with and they liked the sheepsfoot shape of the blade (however not a true sheepsfoot as it does taper to a sharp point). Good knife for removing wood but can also be used for detailed carving. Good starter knife for block carving.
