SOLID PRODUCT

This is my favorite all around whistle due to it's size and build. It is great for your key ring, loud enough for signaling in an emergency and quite adequate for your survival kit.

Piercing Sound

This is a loud, shrill, piercing whistle, almost painful in close proximity. At 110 decibels, this is just below a police siren (120 dbl), and a chain saw (115 dbl). Your gym teacher’s whistle was about 80-90 dbl. This seems about 10 dbl louder than a TOPS Knives Whistle, and the Fox 40 Micro is higher pitched/shriller than the TOPS. Fox 40 Micro makes an irritating noise, like nails on a blackboard, or your mother-in-law’s nagging.
