Pros: Pocket Clip, Blade Material, Overall Quality, Blade Sharpness
Cons: None
This karambit has it all!
WARNING: This should not be your first karambit! If you are experienced with this type of knife, though, you will appreciate everything about it. The steel is high quality, the micarta handle scales feel like worn in jeans compared to the new denim feel of g10, and the deployment options are nearly perfect. The Emerson wave IS perfect. The flipper is satisfying once you get the wrist flick down, but be aware that the detent is so strong that deployment using the thumb hole takes more force and time than the other methods, and the only satisfaction is in besting the mechanism. The handle is long enough to hold in the 'saber' grip so you don't have to put your pinky in the finger hole. That hole is for your index finger when using the traditional karambit grip, but you can injure your hand putting pressure on the joint when using the hole with an overhand grip.
