Great edc

I didn't know whether I wanted g-10 or CF. Also thought about the aluminum version which costs more, but after getting the g-10 i am happy. With the texture it allows it to have some grip, the aluminum would be to slippery i feel. The knife itself is a great design. Flipper and finger choil with the size makes for great edc. I prefer wire clip also, don't really notice it in your pocket. I did have to take it apart to clean, re-oil, and get to proper tightness for better action. Now it's perfect, and you can even spidey flick. The frame lock takes some getting used to, would be awesome to have something like a compression lock on a design like this.

Nice little knife

I wanted to diversify my collection and try Fox Knives. I really enjoyed putting this little knife into my EDC rotation. The knife fits the hand very comfortably and has a nice weight. The golf ball pattern gives a nice grip. Recommended.

Lots of things good, but framelock ain't one of them

I happen to love the Mangiano makers, Fox, MKM, etc. This knife is sweet in the hand, satisfying to flick open, aesthetically pleasing. However, the framelock...sweet Jesus it's rough. Very hard to unlock, and when I do unlock it finally, it's at the expense of my thumb pad. That painful bug there makes me very unhappy with this otherwise charming little knife. Hopefully it'll break in...

Doesn't Lock Up

Seal on the box was opened which was unusual. Knife looks good, fits hand well for a shorter design. A lanyard and bead would help with the grip. I discovered the lock did not work when handling the knife. I tried multiple times to remedy it with no luck. I think this was someone's returned knife which is why the seal was broken. Really surprised because I've had a few Fox knives that were great. Not satisfied at all with this one and plan on a return.

Stiff action

Ordered this on special price and was excited to receive it. However the opening action is very rough and I cannot get it to open smoothly at all. It always stops halfway. Maybe some break in refinement or KPL is needed but not something I think should be necessary for a knife this expensive out of the box. Also the frame lock is very tight and hard to unlock, takes much more effort than cheaper knives. This is disappointing for the price point, so I plan to send it back unfortunately.

Swapped the first out, the second has its own probs

Both knives sent to me were rough, in terms of edge and finish. Unfortunate, even in a $99 blade. The liner lock still takes brute force to open, and the design is such that in order to flick, you have to avoid leaning on the lock, which is extremely difficult. I wonder why this knife won knife of the year? It's a terrible design from my perspective. I'm truly disappointed; I love my other Italian knives, and this one was so promising. I love the aesthetic.
