Fantastic EDC

Currently own several pika style knives and this is by far the one I pick up the most. Comes with a second pocket clip with hardware so I currently have both clips on it for more pocket carry choices. Came sharp out of box and the steel seems very responsive to sharpening on a spyderco tri maker. The Emerson hook works really well and it has a flipper tab if needed. Fits the hand perfectly in reverse grip edge in.

Self-Defense knife

This is the first knife I've purchased that I would say is purpose-built for self-defense. Karambits are arguably tools since they do have some practical use. This thing is a handful of "stay the hell away from me", and a serious one at that. Watch the designer's YouTube channel. His name is giuliano Ron. He has a variety of videos that show technique and are extremely good at showing you how to use this knife to its fullest potential. Unlike pepper spray, this won't blow back in your face if you panic, it won't come out of your hand if gripped properly using the finger loop, and the back-facing blade makes it very difficult for an attacker to neutralize when used in self defense. This knife is a real one, when paired with some knowledge and training.
