Mora Perfect

It is exactly as expected. The perfect utility knife for my wife to keep her from using the kitchen knives for gardening and box opening.

Get 2!

I bought a second as backup. I carry it on the farm and it's great to toss in your tool bag or camping gear. Tough and inexpensive enough to bang on but still good quality and comfortable to use. The sheath is nothing to write home about but still can't beat it for the price.

My first Mora. Everything great that is said about Mora is true. Good quality, good steel, sharp, utilitarian, good sheath and inexpensive. I will be buying more.

Great Knife, Great Service :)

This knife is the best midrange starter knife for camping and Bushcrafting. Coupled with a couple of wood carving tools great for crafting and general knifework

This is the only knife you 'need'

Other than prying with it or exposing it to extreme temperatures, I can't think of what this knife cannot do. It's hard to simultaneously beat higher priced knives in quality and chinese knives in price, yet morakniv does both.

Morakniv Mora of Sweden 4''

I use a knife for peeling fruits and vegetables at home. I also carry it with me for backpacking and tracking as a kitchen knife

Think before you punish a knife

Yeah these knives are the new Old Hickory type common and dependable, but for the sake of common sense and basic intelligence DO NOT put a knife through the DISHWASHER! You'll ruin the temper forever!!

Very impressed

This is my first knife with 'scandi cut' ... I didn't think it would be very sharp because of the angle. Knife arrived fairly good state of sharpness but with a few moments on the stone and some wipes on the steel it is wickedly razor sharp and has held the edge after a couple of days general use. Main reason I bought it was that I need a knife and sheath that can both go through the dishwasher to thoroughly clean and sterilise them after working on meat and general stuff in a butcher store (obviously a leather or woven material sheath are no good to me). For the price I think the quality is excellent - no 'Cons' at all.

Great Handle

Awesome handle, very comfortable contour, nice & grippy rubberized texture. Nice & big especially good if you have big hands... Very comfortable for long cutting sessions. Blades good too, needs to be sharpened a bit but all around a great knife, I use it for kitchen work. The sheath is ok, could be better. I wish it were a little more compact but the knife snaps in there nicely, doesnt fall out, has a drainage hole & the clip works well. The knife can be drawn one handed with a little effort... but is a little difficult as the sheath comes up onto the handle a bit, and the clip gets in the way, it should be lower down below the handle.

Cool litle knife

What an interesting little knife. It has made me rethink how much one needs to spend to obtain a quality blade. The 4" edge arrived razor-sharp but the sheath is what impressed me. It's made of a thick plastic that securely snaps onto the knife with no need for a clasp. The top of the sheath has a quite serviceable belt loop that will clip onto the widest belts and stay locked on. There is a drip hole at the bottom in case you put the knife away wet. It seems like a more elegant sheath solution than leather, which can trap moisture and rust your blade, or a bulky, riveted kydex sheath, or a flimsy nylon version typical of knives in this price range. The blade is stiff, wide at the top, with a scandi grind down to the edge. It's very easy to keep sharp. The handle is a perfect fit to my palm with no worries about slipping down onto the knife edge while you work. I'm quite happy with it, wish I'd bought one years ago, and will probably buy several more for me and for friends.
