Mora Eldris

Bought this knife a while ago.Was looking for a small fixed blade for edc. The Eldris seemed to fit the bill. Got the Eldris with the fire steel, and safety sheath. For safety concerns I replaced the 550 cord with a "breakaway: lanyard. The size fits well with my edc kit. The knife is sharpo and works great especially with carving. It is great to have a fixed blade to along to back up my folders.would surely recommend! Service from Knifecenter was top notch as always!

Morakniv eldris

Like all mora knives this was no disappointment. I have been using their knives now for a couple of years now. Purchased the Eldris as a Christmas gift for my wife. She has carried a small fixed blade in her purse for use other than her pocket knife. It came with a very sharp edge as all moras do. Until you have sharpened a scandi edge you don't know what you are missing. The handle shape is very comfortable as well as being of adequate size. The spine throws sparks with ease using the included ferro rod. I expect to purchase one for myself in the near future to avoid taking my wife's when she is not looking!

New Eldris

When I saw the photos of the Eldris from Morakniv it immediately got my attention as a possible EDC fixed blade for my pocket and as a woodcraft carver. I also liked the versatility of neck knife carry, and the fire steel . I have been disappointed in some knives in the past when I actually got them in my hand, but I am happy with my new "Little Buddy Eldris" . The blade edge needed no attention out of the box. It is very keen and well ground. The handle with its hard center and softer grippy outside is a great size for my average hands. I have found notching, feather sticking and just whittlin' to be fun with this little guy. I have also used the 90 degree spine to scrape fine shaving "dust" from wood and to throw lotsa' sparks from the accompanying fire steel. It performs well. I will say that my "Little Buddy" fought back a little when I tried to push the blade spine with a thumb assist for notching. I may round the distal spine edge a little to ease the conflict with my thumb. I recommend the Morakniv Eldris highly. Thanks KnifeCenter for your exceptional service. Yours in Prayer, Rick Trumbo

Great little knife.

Great to throw into a mess kit or even your lunch bucket and not have to worry about maintenance or giving up a ton of space.
