Great little knife

I have only used this so far whittling on small pieces of firewood. The blade was shaving sharp on delivery. The handle is thick enough to afford different grip arrangements while using. At first it took two hands to remove from sheath but now I can remove with just one hand. My girlfriend thinks it's cute and wants her own so I will be ordering another. So far I like it and feel the price is reasonable.

Mora doesn't know how to make a bad product

For a company that mostly offers affordable/ budget products they really do put a lot of thought into their tools. The Eldris is a brilliantly designed addition to the Mora line. The size and concept make this a very versatile tool for countless tasks and any user. I generally prefer carbon blades but I think stainless was the proper choice here, making this an all around, easy to carry, low maintenance workhorse. This is my new go to suggestion for both new knife users and experienced users looking for an affordable quality tool. The necker setup is actually a nice little addition and adds an extra level of retention to the sheath. With or without the necker setup, this is a wonderful blade. To top it all off, it came with a very nice factory edge. Also, service and price from KnifeCenter was A++ as always.

Best little outdoor knife ever!

This knife is so cool because even though it’s so small it is great. I bring mine outdoors all the time and it handles great. It comes crazy sharp right out of the box. You can use it as and ice pick, a hammer, or even a chopping knife. The handle is so good, it has a great grip. The sheath is good too. It can handle water, snow, mud, sand, everything. This is just an all around good knife.

Great knife!

I have owned this knife without the neck knife upgrade for quite some time and have used it extensively in my outdoor adventures. I have used it mainly around camp for fire making and carving tasks it is a great feather stick maker and comes from the factory with a razors edge and very sharp spine for scraping ferro rods and scraping wood for making tender. The blade is made of Sandvig Stainless steel, which is a high quality stainless steel. It readily takes and holds an edge and its handle material is ideal for good grip and durability.

Big knife in a small package

Gift for wife. Lots of capability in a small package. She was able to pull together a fire in under 30 minutes. Only shortfall would be baton-ing, but that what the big knife/hatchet is for ...

Handy

This is a great secondary knife for bushcrafters, and a good primary blade for day hikers and backpackers who don't want the extra weight of a full size knife. Mine lives in my daypack and takes care of my camp chores. Its a good whittling knife two. About as maintenance free as a knife gets. Good steel that sharpens easily. In my view, its a little short for food prep. It'll get it done, just a different technique than a paring knife. Cut just about anything I need to cut, and takes up very little room in my pack. I just ordered another one for my tool box.
