I’m in love

It’s a little on the short side, but that is definitely not a fault. I got this after my friend showed me his Mora knife and explained why a scandi grind is great. Though i intended to get the same one he has (the classic model), I couldn’t say no to this orange one. This blade is thinner than his, which I actually prefer for when I slice up cheese or vegetables. The meat cutting performance is amazing. Feathers wood like butter, speaking of which, it weighs the same the butter knives we use at home. I like the ergonomics and the grip material. This knife’s entire design is very thoughtful. The sheath is noticeably warped to one side, but it still operates perfectly so I’m not complaining. Two more inches of blade length would be a dream, but again, not complaining. This is coming with me on every trip into the woods from now on, and Im even getting a second one that will stay at home. Mora’s amazing performance to price ratio is making me forget all about Cold Steel, hahaha.

Great knife, especially for the price

This knife is very light weight. It almost feels cheap, because it's so light. But don't let it fool you, it's a stout knife. I've started several fires using the spine on fire rod. Used to baton very small pieces of wood for kindling. Cut meat & used for various tasks. It's so reasonably priced that I'm not afraid to use it. Can't go wrong.

Excellent “Just in Case” Hiking Knife

Mora knows outdoor knives. I am a female with small/med. sized hands. I like day hiking. This knife is “just right” in all respects. Light weight for its size. Durable. Ergonomic handle - all the contours are well-rounded. Textured grip - but still comfortable. The blade is very practical for outdoor use. The tip 1/2 is flat ground for slicing. The back 1/2 is scandi for wood. Corrosion resistant. Great price and nice orange color (muted “burnt” orange). Would like to see a screaming bright lemon yellow color. Size of blade and handle is perfect for day hiking. (If you have large, burly hands - you may prefer a bigger handle.). This is a high value knife that checks all my boxes. General purpose utility knife.

Another Hit From Mora

Mora has combined many features from different knives into one with the Kansbol. The combination grind produces an exceptionally strong blade for its size while still having a flexible enough tip to make the knife adept at drilling holes, carving out concavities, and for breaking down animals for meat. This knife is excellent for processing chickens and rabbits and will bone a whole bird like a dream. Being stainless, it also cleans up very easily. I also use this knife for camp tasks like wood carving, tinder processing, and firecraft. The square spine will strike a firesteel and throw a shower of sparks and also can be used to shave fine bits of material off of dry wood (especially tulip poplar and fatwood) to make sure fire tinder. The Kansbol is very comfortable and feels light and alive in the hand. The removable belt loop is also a nice touch, since you can wear the loop unobtrusively on your belt and, when you're ready, you can pop the sheathed knife on or off as your need dictates. This knife will also baton wood, despite being stainless and despite being ground thin through the tip. I don't recommend it, but it can be done in a pinch when you really need it, such as splitting open wet dead wood to get to the dry, seasoned core.

Excellent knife for a reasonable price

I bought this knife as general purpose camp knife. It’s great for cooking, cutting rope, hunting, and zombie protection. What impressed me the most was one time I forgot a hatchet while camping, I used this knife to split out small sections of fire wood to get the tinder for the fire. I used it like froe and beat the living daylight out of this knife splitting out arm sized pieces of wood. I expected it to be ruined or extremely dull. Nope, it still had a decent edge and no damage. Excellent knife for a reasonable price!

Perfect all-round knife

I bought several of these and have 1 in each vehicle in our household. Along with a small dry-chemical fire extinguisher, fire blanket, some emergency foil type blankets, flashlight, and a magnesium and ferro rod. There is already a medical kit with truma-focused contents like quik-clot and tourniquets (all are trained on use of contents, as well).
This knife is perfect for when you don't typically carry or keep a knife with you/near by. Doesn't break the bank and it WILL perform when its needed. I perfer the brightly colored handle so its quick to locate if theres an emergency need for it and makes inventory checks simple. Since I am a knife guy, this is almost always a backup for me as I will have one of my edc folders with me and keep a OKC Blackbird fixed blade in my vehicle. Nice having a quality, but inexpensive, blade like this for a one-off task, or something where blade damage is likely, is always comforting.
Highly recommend these blades to everyone, even their most inexpensive offering is fantastic and for the price, you will be pleasantly surprised at what you get! It's a also a great starter knife for a responsible kid.

I like it

I bought this knife because I didn't want to spend $100 or more on a bushcraft knife and I didn't want to deal with a carbon steel blade rust and depended on Mora to have a very sharp stainless steel blade. The blade is wicked sharp and my only complaint was the blade and black grooves on it, which I thought was a defect. I got some metal cleaner out and the black marks came off with some diligent scrubbing. This is my 3rd Mora and the only one that had minor issues with the blade.
