This knife is an amazing carving knife, holds an incredible edge even after carving old dry wood. The farro rod is very convenient, if you take your knife you can light fires. I use mine to light my alcohol stoves. Best of all, the sharp stainless blade cuts my cheese burgers in half without effort.
