Incredibly light

I keep this knife attached to my PFD for kayaking and fishing. The cork handle and thin blade make the knife very light. It doesn’t feel ‘sturdy’ (the entire knife has a bit of flex to it), but it’s perfect for cleaning fish and cutting bait. The handle is very ergonomic and a bit longer than comparable Moras like the Pro or Basic models. The shallow scandi grind is fantastic, very sharp and very easy to sharpen. The clip-style belt loop and the odd knob on the sheath make it easy to lash onto anything. Like other Moras, the price to design quality ratio is absurdly good.

Long-term cork issues

This is an update to my previous review. After two years of (weekend-warrior level) use for fishing/kayaking, the cork handle has splits along the center line. The cork is not falling off, but heavier use would probably change that quickly. I plan to buy another one (<$30 for excellent design and 2+ years of solid performance ain't bad), keep the cork conditioned, and retain the old copy for odd jobs.
