Great for knife blades
Up to five years ago I used oil on my blades. Then I started to use flitz knife wax Because oil was messy and sometimes stained my clothes. I like the wax, it gives me all the protection I got from the oil “coat” without the mess and, of course, looks much better. I caught an ad from Knife Center promoting Flitz Sealant. I asked myself if this was for knife blades, and decided to try it. This stuff is great. It takes seconds to apply and makes the blade slippery and shinny. It looks like clear water but leaves some kind of invisible “shell” on the blade. It sure cuts the drag on my blade, when cutting cardboard. I’ve taken two buck 110s .. one coated with wax and the other with the sealant. I want to see which one lets the brass tarnish first. It’s been a couple of months and they both look like I just polished them. It only takes a drop. I rub it on with my finger and wipe it off with a cloth.
