Workmanship is a work of Art

The razor I received is totally excellent in every aspect; I would call it a work of Art. It is in reality beautiful and shaves like a dream. Excellent, and I am very happy with the purchase (:

I just bought the last one i guess since it is out of stock at this time. This was the best price i found on the net. Overall its good the but my only complaint is that it does not have the center pin, which makes the scale feels a bit fragile i had purchased a Best Value before this and it had a built in center pin that was molded to one of the scales. The center pin makes "Best Value" feel a bit more ridge than the "Special" and i also believe the "Best Value" has a bit thicker scale that the "Special" which could also have the more ridge feel to it. The scales on the "Special" has a nice pattern to it but i guess some might be better that others. i like the silver inlay. It good since i have it in rotation.

This razor is very well made. The workmanship is excellent and it is stunning. The blade size is perfect. Weight is perfect for precision shaving and handling. It fits very well to the hand. All in all, this is an outstanding shaving instrument which has the look, design, blade material and finish of a much more expensive razor. I expect this beauty to last for a long time in use.

Great Razor

This is a very good razor. I've had it for almost a year and it is my favorite. It works very well under the nose to get those hard to get hairs. The blade takes a very sharp edge, but I take care of it. I hone it about every two months and strop it about 30 times before each shave. It's like a ritual and I enjoy it.

If your starting out this razor is alright but just keep in mind it isn't the best razor and isn't going to give you a great shave. I myself have a heavy beard and I find that I need to shave the same areas at least 3 times before I have a clean face, so do yourself a favor and spend a little more money and buy a middle or top of the line razor.
