Does the job
Does a nice job of adding the finishing touches on even the hardest steel after having sharpened with its diamond siblings. An already sharp edge gets that last bit of polish and smoothness with this hone.

Necessary for finished edge
Wish Gatco would include it in their Deluxe Diamond Hone Kit, but I guess overall you save by buying a lesser kit and this separately. It really does put the finishing edge on the knife that is not quite there with the diamond hones.

Serious sharpening
This is must have for all of us who tend toward perfection. Properly sharpened knife holds edge lot longer and this is well worth final touch. Affordable with great results!

Get a fine edge
This hone really puts a fine edge on my knives. It polishes the edge. I do not have to use it much and I expect it may last my life time.

Another great Gatco product...
Not too much to say; the Gatco ceramic hone is fantastic. Usually it just takes a couple/three stroke across this and the blade is razor sharp.
