BALANCE!

I've been looking for a new hunting knife for a long time. It had to be...
A fixed blade, drop point, MagnaCut steel, under 4 inch cutting edge, a substantial grippy handle, under 9 inches in total length, and as near as possible, fit the image I had in mind.
Gerber hit this one out of the park. 
To me, it is the near perfect Balance of All the Above.
The only Con is the sheath. Too "busy". I've modified it a bit, although the knife now rests in a proper custom leather sheath. Will carry it in Elk camp this Fall.

Great Knife for money. Don't like big notch on back of blade and the sheath attatchment system.

exceptionally designed and manufactured fixed blade knife in Magnacut at an exceptional low price especially for a made in USA knife
The blade thickness (thin 1/8") is thin and the edge geometry is perfect for slicing.
Magnacut steel is the best all around knife steel, and easy to maintain the edge.
Come with an excelletn kydex sheet which can be worn horizontally on the belt (my preference)
Durable and ''grippy'' handle material
equivalent knives often cost 3X as much

Fantastic blade!

Made a mess at a friend's fire pit whittling sticks for over an hour with this Strongarm Camp with MagnaCut blade - my first MagnaCut knife. I wasn't disappointed. I love my Strongarm but I had heard the Camp was better in some respects and I agree. Great knife and great blade.

Excellent upgrade to strong arm

I hope to use this knife for light camp chores and food prep. The blade is thinner than the larger strong arm, but very slicey for excellent food prep and whittling tasks.
