great knife, incredible edge that cuts with extreme ease both on serrated and nonserrated parts of the blade, well balanced, very light weight

Great utility knife

It's a great pocket knife especially at this price. Feels great and works great. Solidly built yet opens one handed easily and smoothly. Takes an edge and holds it. For those of us that hate to spend big bucks for knives that eventually get lost, this one is priced right and functions perfectly.

Extremely Happy

I lost my original Gerber. And after looking for 6 months, I found this website and ordered this excellent lightweight knife, and carry it with me at all times. It comes in handy for opening packages and removing small dead palm fronds.

Great tool

This is always in my pocket. It was my work knife before retiring and it continues to be my go to blade in the garage, around the house and out in the woods. I use it when working on wiring, cleaning gasket surfaces and for general camping uses. It flips open with a flick of the wrist, so that when I'm stabilizing something with one hand, I don't have to stop and re-adjust everything because I couldn't get my blade out.

it was good till i damaged it

general purpose camping fishing the only bad thing about it was the fact that the steel was hard to sharpen i wore the basterd down trying to give a perfect edge due to the fact it was poor steel too soft... but in general i like the knife looking for another one

Buy something else

Buy something like an Ontario RAT-1 instead for similar money. The EVO is junk. I'll give it one star for the 440A which is marginally better than 8cr13mov and for having aluminum scales instead of steel but that's where the good ends. The detent is stiff. The lock bar is sharp and not very accessible, making it no fun, even painful to use. The hardware is sloppy and the pivot needs two drivers to loosen.
