About time!!!
Gerber finally hit a home run with this knife ! Excellent balance , great thickness , excellent companion , in the field , at campsite , or around the backyard , it does it all ! A solider would be able to youse this knife in hostel situations , and you can throw this knife easy or fight with it!! God forbid only if you had to , thanks again Gerber for getting it right!!

It's OK
A decent field knife. The price point makes it less painful if you have to replace it. The sheath us excellent, very well designed to be mounted to web gear, vests, etc. The blade's biggest drawback is the low quality steel - does not hold a good edge, difficult to sharpen, and not particularly durable. D2 or a better grade of high carbon stainless would have been a better choice.
