Best Multi-Tool I've Ever Owned!
And I've had a lot, going back to the original Leatherman! I find I'm relying on it for production work, instead of hauling a beltfull of tools around. The materials, fit, and finish are outstanding. I did not buy the extra bits, but rather, I found that a standard 10-hole rubber bit holder (of which, I had many) fits in the outer pocket, so I assembled my own most-used set of bits to carry, including a 5/16" socket for hose clamps. A wonderful feature is that you don't have to open the pliers to flip out either the knife blade or the screwdriver. My only complaint is that the replaceable cutting blades are fragile. I have broken several. Gerber wants $24 a pair for replacements! Then I discovered that these are simply standard M10 thread cutting inserts, used for making screws on a lathe. You can ten of them from China on eBay for under $10! It's also a bit of a shame that the blade lock is plastic. Mine is taking a beating, and I suspect it will be the first thing to break. A final, trivial complaint is that the flip-out spare bit holder gets a little loose with use, and you can lose your spare bit. I squeezed mine tighter with some wire-nose pliers, and all is good again.
