Top quality knife.

A heavy duty knife in a more compact package. Gerber has upped their game.

Wish the quality was better

The look and the feel of the knife in hand is excellent. The operation of the push button and of the locking switch are also excellent. The tanto blade is the down fall of this knife and the lack of quality control. The blade point is off center, the blade angles of the tanto shape don't match the opposing side. More to the point is the blade apparently was sharpened on one side and then the other and never made symmetrical. Please I like Gerber and wish the quality warranted the price tag.

coil spring broke after very litle use

Thought I would get an auto for my knife collection so I purchased the Gerber Propel Downrange AUTO... I never used it as an edc or any hard use at all because I wanted to keep in in good condition.. I rarely ever used it.. I picked it up the other day and fired it a few times and the spring broke... After taking it apart I noticed that the coil spring was very poor quality and not meant to last... I did replace the spring with one from knifekits but It doesn't function very well... Waste of money if you ask me... very poor quality!! I have kershaw knives that are better quality...
