Excellent blade and quality

Action, weight, blade sharpness, quality, pocket clip, color are all great. Saw the other review. Not doubting their remarks. It looks like either I got a good one or quality control may have improved. I'll be buying one for a bud on Xmas because he liked the knife.

An Impressive Offering

After tax this guy came out to $117. Near perfect blade centering, decent action, and corners are decently chamfered. There is still die tearout, which is a sign of poor qc that hasn't been taken care of since this knife first came out; but other than that, the only gripes I have is that the blade was pathetically sharpened from the factory. It was not ground to slice, had uneven grind marks, and wasn't ground out all the way to the tip. Along with this, the knife needed to be taken apart to be cleaned and lubricated. Since cleaning and lubricating, the blade satisfyingly drops close with a slight shake. Once I get the blade sharpened to 17 degrees or so, this full flat ground blade will be a slicing MONSTER. Eventually, I would like to polish the edges of the lock bar liner to rid the die tearout. With some elbow grease, this knife can be a venerable gem.
