Long Lasting, Well Built

For a knife under $30, i couldn't imagine finding a better buy. I have used this as my daily driver for nearly two years. Great for anything from minor kitchen use to backpacking. The blade can really last through any type of wear. Only downside is that the pocket clip is easily caught on things and can become bent.

Excellent EDC / Backup

Super-light, great in the hand, arrived sharp, a light strop and it's hair-popping. Excellent EDC or one of those solid "just throw it in the bag for a backup" sorta knife. I'm most pleased with the investment.

Best Pocket Knife I've Ever Owned

If I'm dressed for the day, this knife is in my back right pocket. When I draw it and open it one handed those who don't know me think it's a full auto. Very light weight for its size, easy draw, and very easy one handed opening and closing. Blade material is hard to sharpen and I ground off the point at the rear of the edge as it would hook on smaller line when cutting rope. I give these to people I like and keep extras new in the box in case I lose one.

All the good things others have said plus never commented on by others. Meaning not impressive, not scary. I like the "Grey Man" way of being. Not being on everyone's radar. So, it's not so flashy everyone is impressed with my money and not so tactical that everyone goes on high alert. For the last few months it's done what I've asked it to as well as any of my expensive tacticals would. It's earned EDC status.

best work knive ever !

I have used this knife for 10 years at work I use it every day. The first one I had for 6 years and lost it ,then I had to get another one. I would fix the clips on them to fit tighter,and I would use them for cutting , prying , Wire strippers, putty scraping. Won of my best tools.

PERFECT !

I use some Gerber EZ-Out from 15 years (I still have my first with the marking "First production run 1995", the first year I bought 5 only to be NEVER without one ! I have Spyderco, Sog, Cold Steel, Buck knives but it is the folder I love ! I bought recently two more only to have them, my only complain are the holes on the blade (but I fill them with epoxy) the original hole was better. the material of the blade is perfect too, not too brittle or hard, it maintain is edge nicely and is easy to sharpen again (the EZ-Out with ATS-34 blade was less interesting when in use)

Great knife but...

Great knife all around and a cheap price; however the lock is not very sturdy and would absolutely fail under extreme pressure. Not a plus at all.

Pro: Works well for EDC and light utility cutting. Light and tip down carry. Con: Edge does not hold well but that is the fun of knives and developing sharpening skills.

like everything but the pocket clip.

The pocket clip was never tight on mine, but everything else was great. I like the size and shape of the blade, the feel of grips, plus it is a good looking knife and sharp enough.easy to touch up. I removed the clip, I don't like clips that don't hold tight. Because of this I don't carry it much. For a while I carried it in the 5th pocket of my jeans. It now takes a back seat to my kershaw shallott.
