FASTER THAN FAST

THIS IS MY NEW EVERY DAY CARRY KNIFE. I STARTED WITH THE MINI, THEN MOVED UP TO THIS COMBO EDGED KNIFE. IT OPENS IN A FLASH, VERY SMOOTH. I PARTICULARLY LIKE THE BALANCE OF THIS KNIFE. I USE IT FOR CUTTING EVERYTHING, I.E. CARDBOARD, THE PLASTIC BANDING, WHICH IS VERY TOUGH, THAT THEY USE TO BAND MULTIPLE BOXES TOGETHER. THE FACTORY EDGE IS GOOD BUT IT CAN BE MADE MUCH BETTER WITH JUST A LITTLE HONING ON A SET OF CROCK STICKS AND A STROP. THE BLADE HOLDS A VERY KEEN EDGE AND KEEPS IT THROUGH TOUGH USAGE. EXCELLENT KNIFE FOR ANY USE ESPECIALLY AT YOUR PRICE!

Own one and you'll never carry another

I have two of these knives. Live on a farm and occasionally misplace one but at 63 wht do you expect. My knife goes everywhere with me. Church on Sundays, if i'm jet sking in the lake, or farming cutting hay string. They don't show it in this picture, but the clip is fixed where when you pull this knife from your pocket, your right thumb is positoned on the thumb stud for quick opening of the blade. When carried in the back pocket, you can pull your knife in such a way that its fully opened the second you pull it out. This knife is quicker than any knife ive ever used.

Good utility knife.

This assisted opening knife is well designed. Is easy to open and close with one hand. Only one setback, the blade became somewhat loose in the handle after allot of use. Was easy to tighten up with a small square bit. But so will any other work blades that indeed are used for work, prying and so on. Work knives are not crow bars or saws. Good quality for the price. If you loose it you have not lost a hundred bucks or more. Blade is good, locking mechanism is sound. Pocket clip appears to be long enough for use if you wish to. I personally have lost to many knives working while pulling other items out of my pocket. Blade is of legal length for pocket carry.

Great EDC

I have had this knife for quite a while now. I carry it nearly every day. The action is still smooth as ever and fast after hundreds if not thousands of openings. The spring assist is still as fast as ever, even after playing with it for hours on end. The blade came sharp and has stayed that way through a lot of use. The lock on this knife is very well designed. It's very accessible and locks up tight. It has stood up to spine whacks very well. I would prefer a plain edge, but the serrations are quite good. I liked the pocket clip however it got hung up on a seat belt getting out of a car and got pulled out of place, still working on it. Overall, this is a great knife especially for the price, great job Gerber.

Kine of Epicness

Just got it today at a local store, so I didn't get it at the Knifecenter Price. I haven't used it yet, but the factory edge is shaving sharp. It's lighning fast and I can't stop playing with it. There's only two things I don't like. 1.) There's isn't a flipper (I think it would be easier to deploy) and 2.) The blade isn't black (Harder 2 see, You know?). Still, Beast knife.

Awsome E.D.C

This knife is the best assisted open knife in it's price range, by far. This knife opens fast and reliably, it realy lives up to it's name fast draw. The blade comes razor sharp. This is a great EDC (Every Day Carry) Knife for the guy who doesn't want a heck of a lot of knife hanging out of his pocket but still wants something that will come open fast. Also, for those of you that didn't know, if you leave the safety off in your pocket you can catch the thumb stud against the edge of your pocket on the way out, find a faster opening knife than that!!!

Awesome EDC

Love this utility EDC! Carry it every day, for all kinds of chores. Assisted opening is quite snappy also. Button works good too. Not too hard to sharpen either. Good bang for the buck!

Great Pocket Knife

This knife has become my all purpose general carry knife. Being able to open a knife one handed without having to "flick" your wrist is a nice change. The knife arrived sharp and ready to use. The opening mechanism was a little stiff at first but after opening and closing the blade about a dozen or so times, it became much smoother. All around I'd say it is a great knife for the price.

This is a good pocket knife. Theirs not much to say about it. Its lock is firm and strong, its quick, and has good quality. Also the thumb tab on the blade is on both sides, for all you lefties. I recommend this knife.

Good EDC

Good knife, good quality steel. Holds edge very well. Only complaint is the safety on the locking mechanism... It stopped working about 6 weeks after purchase. Other than that, good knife

English translation: Doubtless we were before a good knife of pocket. She is very light, his short leaf very well and its opening is as fast as the one of an automatic knife, carrying out so much the opening as the closing with a single hand. The insurance del that arranges is a little it last to clear it, but it is logical on the other hand not to do it of nondeliberate way. Its grip has good tact and it adapts well at the hand. The only ones beat that I see him is that the leaf is of an off grey color, logical for the nonglares, but that gives an aspect him of toy knife, and that the pocket paper clip of which I adquiri did not take well recorded word GERBER.

this knife is a good EDC knife for the first week i had it. then out of no where it broke it no longer locks in the out possition and you can hear a rattle when you shake it. overall a peace of crap only being a week the hardest use it got was cuting open a box thats it! so now i am back to carrying a cheap 5 dollar knife that came in a set with a multitool. Good job gerber never again!
