Great Close in Light
Very bright and focused light. So what that means is, don't expect it to light up and entire area. If you're looking for a discreet light source to give ample light to a small specific area, this is the one. The green, blue, and red lenses work just as well. The IR upgrade is literally another piece of the light. When it arrives you get two pieces to put together. Not a major deal at all. Pretty easy to swap out the back end of the original light and add the IR upgrade. A word of caution. The clip that is on the light (like the clip on a pen to hold in place in a pocket) is a bit difficult to put back on, if you take it off. It can be done, you just need to jimmy it around. I guess that shows that it's not a piece of junk if it's that rigid and difficult to bend to reinstall. So far, I'm happy with the purchase and look forward to using it more.
