We use these knives for food preparation. These knives were purchased for our motor home so we are never without quality sharp knives. The stainless Steel quality seems to be outstanding. The knives hold their edge like any other quality knife. If anything happened to these knives, I would not hesitate to rebuy the same ones. Bottom line, I highly recommend them for home food preparation.
