Excellent all around knife

i am a hobby cook and I use Zwilling Pro S and Global knives. This 7 inch Santoku is a great addition to the Pro S line. It is very versatile, razor sharp and easy to keep sharp. At its current sub-$80, it is an amazing bargain for the quality. i find myself using it as my default knife for most cutting and chopping duties, it allows me to do the dirty work very quickly, but also gives me wonderful control and accuracy when it comes to -as an example- slicing stuff *very* thinly. i could see why some would say the Pro S handles are not the most ergonomic around, but i find them comfortable and they are undoubtedly functional and durable. I have an old Pro S utility knife that was my first genuinely expensive kitchen knife, and it still looks great among the other knives that joined it over time in the knife block. Other than the handle, while I love Santoku knives it seems for some people they are an acquired taste. My mother doesn't like to use it when she coooks with me, she prefers the older Pro S utility knife (not a bad choice) or the Global GS7 pairing spear knife (also an excellent choice). Like I said, different knives for different people and different jobs. I for one love the versatility and quality of the Zwilling Pro S 7 Santoku. It shall stay a favorite for quite a while.

Pros: Material Quality, Sharpness, Overall Quality
Cons: Design
I should have paid more attention to the handle, it's too small to be comfortable for me. The blade is fine though, and overall the knife is well constructed.
