I just got it but glad I did. Damascus, real burl handle, mosaic pin, metal end cap, premium core steel. It's super sharp. Cuts are effortless. The santoku shape & this size are great. It's long enough to handle everything I eat without being cumbersome to keep close by or to clean. The wood on mine is a lite grey & black.
