Not worth the price
For the price I was expecting higher quality. While the angled handle grind is even on both sides as far as I can see, the edge bevel is very uneven. What's worse, the overall blades of both knives are slightly bent! (looking down the spine of the knife it is crooked) This is the really unacceptable part. The packaging is also insufficient, they are boxed together in a flimsly plastic package, in mine the paring knife had come loose and was banging around the package so part of the blade was dulled on the paring knife and part of the spine of the chef knife was scratched/dinged. As far as the actual knives, the belly on the chef knife is very extreme and the flat part is longer so it is a "different" rocking action than most knives, not necessarily better. The paring knife in my opinion should have more belly to work as an all purpose knife. All in all if I could do it over I would have picked something else.
