Nice Steakhouse Knives
At first i felt ripped off! I saw what looked like the same knife set from Heckles for 30 bucks elsewhere. Then i did some research and realized these are Zwillings (twins). Been awhile since i bought Henckels, have a 4 star set we bought years ago. Did some research and discovered that Henkels makes a cheaper "dishwasher safe" version of these that are NOT Zwilling. Having received them and used them, i can say they are excellent "big" steakhouse style steak knives. Sharp, the serrations aren't really needed for my steak (side of fork will do, of course), but on tougher cuts, pork chops, other meats, they cut like your going through butter. They do not indicate whether they are dishwasher safe, but the wood handles are real wood, i would limit to hand washing. The box has a very nice magnet in the support rail toward the blade for each knife, nice safety touch and keeps the knives from rattling or falling out of the slots. The box is nice.
