Pros: Handle Material, Blade Material
Cons: None
Nice inexpensive camping knife!
I bought a couple of these because my kids are active in scouts, and a useful folding knife when they are at camp that could open packages and do light food prep, while still being easy to maintain, seemed like a nice present for them. I am very happy with the mechanism, which holds the blade closed unless you give a solid push on the flipper tab, but which still opens right up when being deliberately deployed. Plastic handles are grippy, even when wet, and feels secure in the hand. The large model is a nice sized blade, and the "wharncleaver" shape looks like it will work well on a cutting board. Having more than one color choice is fun, and for my family, it will help identify whose knife has been left out. My kids are teenagers, so while they are both mature enough to own a "real" knife, they are not yet beyond squabbling over who forgot to put their stuff away...if you have them, you know...
