Nice little hand axe but...

I use this little axe for general use... limbing trees, carving, etc. Love the shape, size and appearance. I do find it pretty heavy. The write up states a hardness of R 57 or so but I doubt it. It is very easy to put an edge on it but it does not hold nearly as long as other small axes that I own. For the price, I had hoped for better edge holding.
