Helle Excellence

A beautiful example from Helle. The curly birch handle is gorgeous. I can see why this knife won an award for excellence. It feels great in my hand. Razor sharp out of the tube. They really produce a fantastic knife. It was my first but not my last Helle. KCI service, as always, was great.

Good little knife

The Nying is a great little knife! It makes for an amazing little EDC blade, and holds an amazing edge. The size was a factor I was worried about but after receiving it, it feels amazing in the hand! The blade holds a very nice sharp edge and cuts very well. I love all the material used and plan on buying another Helle product soon. However, the plunge lines are a off center and looking down the blade it does sit to the right more than center. I know these are hand ground but I don’t feel like this should’ve passed quality control. Overall, 4/5 stars. The ergonomics and the function outweighs the grinding issue. Still performs well! Highly recommend.
