A traditional camp knife of Norway.
Owned this knife for 13 years now. I own many "camp" knives, but this is the one I always come back to, it just preforms and feels perfect to me and my needs in the "greate outdoorse". It has been used as my main camp knife alongside a small folder or "tollekniv" to mainly create a camp fire or clear a fishing spot from branches or young trees. If the firewood is wet I can use the knife to carve or chopp off the wet outer layer to get to the dry core of the firewood. The 12c27 steel is easy to sharpen on a wetstone and keeps the edge better then many budget steels, and its very stain resistant wich makes It perfect as a camp knife near seawater or the many fjords here in Norway. The scandi grind is easy to modify to your needs and the thin blade (3 mm.) makes the knife nimble in use for its size. The beautiful traditional leather sheath design dangels freely on your belt so the knife moves out of the way off branches or vegitation, or when you crouch or sitt down. This knife is in my opinion one of the best on the market.
