Hogue Elishewitz X1-Microflip Flipper 2.75" CPM-154 Stonewashed Plain Wharncliffe Blade, Gray Aluminum Handles
Pros: Ease of Opening, Overall Quality
Cons: None
Perfect little work knife.
I use a knife often at work. I carry a larger & smaller folder on me. I reach for the smaller more often & this one is great. Love the utility minded worn cliff blade. Build like a mini tank. Flipper action is the best of any flipper I own, from the first time I opened it. First Hogue knife I've ever owned. Has the best factory edge I've ever seen. Looked for problems, even to nitpick. Found none. A great little knife

Disappointing from Hogue
Having owned and held very high opinions of several Hogue fixed blades, I really can't overstate my disappointment in this folder. I love the design, but Hogue's disclaimer that any attempt at disassembly voids warranty should be a giant red flag. I had to disassemble mine for cleaning within the first week of light everyday carry, and I discovered it does not use a captured pivot, and the pivot head is plain and flat without any way to secure it from spinning freely during reassembly. No washers or bearings of any kind. The entire action of the knife is dependent on the perfect torque on the pivot screw, which cannot be reinstalled now. I expected better from Hogue.
