This karambit is headed to the top of my list of not only karambits but EDC as well. Had no trouble passing the paper test with nice clean slices with no ripped edges. Love the opening system as well. That works as well as the Emerson Wave or Bramp systems, both of which I have in my collection. The blade looks intimidating, and if you're not familiar with karambits, it can cause you damage, so if you're a newbie, for your own safety, GET A TRAINER before you try flipping this monster! I was pleasantly surprised when mine came with G10 scales rather than Zytel. It may add weight, but it also IMHO provides a better grip. All in all, this was love at first sight!
