Rocks!

I have an older one of these, but the new sheaths with the clip are superb. I can carry sideways on a belt or even a waistband. The knife feels very secure in my hand and has a nice feel to it.

Great product, exception service. Couldn't be more pleased.

I found the Brous Silent Soldier to be a high quality blade with an extremely sharp edge. I was very happy to see it come with a belt clip attached to the kydex sheath as I prefer not to wear it around my neck. I use it several times a day for a multitude of different purposes. An all around great little knife.

Excellent

Excellent utility edc knife. Sharp, durable, easy to carry, excellent quality. Only complain is the kydex sheath doesn't allow for a lot of belt carry options, but the fact it does have a clip in itself is a nice feature as most knives like this don't have this feature. I'm not going to dock the knife for the sheath though, that's just a personal thing.

Excellent, but has shortcomings

I use/carry this every day, and have for several months so far. I've found it needs frequent sharpening, which is a bit of a let down, but not so much that I won't carry it or rely on it. The sheath is nice, and belt option carry is great, but there's extra material due to it's shape that can dig into you when you move/sit if you carry it up front appendix position (no, I don't have a huge gut, it still happens). The material could be removed with a minor redesign (i.e. keep the width of the sheath to 1.75" or less and it'll disappear on a belt). As it is I find myself moving it around quite a bit for comfort. Overall, the size, blade shape, fit, finish, balance, handle, grip options, all make this an excellent edc knife for a variety of uses and is a very nice little package. I leave my folder at home more often than not these days. To note about the handle design and grip, it provides a very sturdy platform for making controlled cuts, which I've found very useful. Definitely recommended if you're looking for a small, utility minded edc knife that offers a variety of carry positions, that could in a pinch be used for last resort self-preservation.

The only reason it doesn't get a 5 star is simply because I haven't really used it yet. Feels great, looks sleek and very comfortable to wear around the neck. Comes with a belt clip incase you wish to wear it that way. Not shaving sharp out of the box, but paper cutting sharp no problem. Love the D2 steel because it holds an edge for a really long time. Sheath is extremely secure, I am assuming the name Silent Soldier may have come from the zero rattle that comes from this package. This is my second Brous blade and it won't be the last. Jason makes quality stuff so don't let that steep price deter you. If you go for something cheaper you might end up going through it eventually... Unless you somehow snap this one up or lose it, this will be one hell of a neck knife for a lifetime.
