Beautiful knife with great ergonomics

This knife is a work of art. The fit an finish rivals knives that cost 100$ more. It feels great in the hand. It excels in carving tasks, and the full flat grind makes the knife more versatile in my opinion when compared to the scandi grind. The 14C28N takes an exceedingly fine edge using the worksharp precision adjust. It holds an edge well too. After a full day of whittling It was still able to slice paper. You are not going to find a better value for a bushcraft knife at this price point.

My favorite Joker...

I have several knives by Joker, but this French trade knife inspired blade is my favorite. The ergonomics are perfect for me and how I use knives.I also prefer a flat grind for my belt knife. The 14C28N steel takes a wickedly fine edge easily and holds it quite nicely. The spine is crisply finished making it a useful tool in its own right. The bocote wood has a very nice feel to it, and is very attractive. The low cost makes this a very nice option. If you prefer a Scandinavian grind, they do make this knife with one. That version has a beautiful curly birch handle. Either way, you'll have a fine, well made, and capable knife for a very nice price.

Solid and stylish

Man, is this a good-looking knife. It's a solid, medium-sized workhorse, but the gentle curves of the profile give it an elegant look and with the bocote handle for my money it's the best looking of all the BS9 Jose Sabater designs, and that's saying a lot. The wood is hard, dense, and heavy, and it's beautifully sculpted. (This line is famous for its great handles.) Outside of that, it's the same Joker quality that people have slowly begun to notice, very high value for the modest price. Except for a saltwater environment, I think it would serve you well in pretty much any outdoors situation.

Very Comfortable to Hold

Beautiful knife that is most comfortable in the hand. Just enough blade thickness to be substantial without being heavy or excessive. Should prove reliable in backcountry use for a variety of tasks. Very happy with it so far.
