Excellent knife
Joker makes some great knives and the Montañero is one of them. Great all-around belt knife to take on hikes, camps, etc. Nice and slicey for food and camp prep. Im not much of a hunter but I'd think it good for processing game if needed. 14c28n is amazing steel, one of the toughest and most corrosion resistant, and easy to get a super sharp edge. This steel was designed for making razor blades. The canvas micarta handle looks and feels great, and grippy when wet. Sheath is thick sturdy leather, although I wish it were tighter or had a retention strap.. this knife has fallen out of sheath on treks when ive had it hanging from belt via the button snap above the dangler loop, as it swings around and if caught up on a limb or vegetation or part of my backpack, gets turned upside down and knife falls out... then have to backtrack to find where it dropped! Not sure how to fix this issue besides finding or making a custom sheath with retention strap or a tight kydex sheath.
