Excellent sheath

I got this sheath for my KaBar 1310 Slabby knife as an alternative to the kydex sheath that comes with the knife. This sheath is made of very high quality black leather and exhibits a high level of craftsmanship - it is very well made and given the price, it is a fantastic deal. At first, I was concerned that given the price, this sheath might be made in communist China, which is a deal breaker for me. I was pleased to learn after a bit of research that KaBar has this sheath made in Mexico, not in China. If you have a 1310 Slabby or the traditional USMC KaBar fighting knife, this is a fantastic sheath for either knife. KaBar sure as heck got it right with this sheath.

good value, quality leather

I needed to replace the original WW2-era sheath for my father's 6" Ka-Bar (used in the South Pacific theater for 3 years). The new sheath from Knife Center fills the need nicely, although it is meant for a newer, 7" bladed knife. but I am not complaining. The leather is thick, and it is put together well. it even smells good. Great value for the money.
