KA-BAR 1220 US Army Fighting Knife
This knife is KaBar through and through. The blade quality, handle material and sheath are all typical KaBar. I use this knife on a weekly basis and the blade has stayed as sharp as the day I got it from Knife Center. While this knife would be a great defensive tool, that is not my reason for purchase. I've cut tree limbs, tough rope and large vines on my property. I've two son-in-laws, one former Marine and one former Army and have purchased the appropriate knives for each of them as well. These knives will last a lifetime and I'm very happy with my purchases.

Very beautiful knife for the money. No it's not like a amazing super steel but it sure as hell will take any task you throw at it.

I received the knife, shaving sharp. The workmanship seems to be excellent. U especially like that the steel is 1095. It sharpens very easily. The sheath isn't that great though.

great knife for right reason
knife holds good edge. i have butchered for 12 years and can get this blade to shave hair if used for intended purposes it would do an excellent job. if abused it is just that . abused . great knife allways with me outside. and very close to dads ww2 original

Outstanding Knife
What I have found to be a typical KA-BAR knife. Rugged, well balanced and tuff. I bought the leather handle which to me embodies the signature look of the KA-BAR but also for the ruggedness of the leather. Very happy with the knife. I have.three son-in-laws and plan on buying a KA-BAR for each one for Christmas.

KA-BAR US Army Fighting Knife 7" Blade
This is a good knife and I really like the Ka-Bar brand. The only downfall I feel is that the company hasn't updated the steel their using at all. It keeps an edge for about a month(depending on your usage). I carried it in Afghanistan daily and it was used daily. Still overall proud to carry the piece of heritage and a great tool on my hip.
